Four Month Doctor Visit

Today Ellie went for her four month check up. She has really grown.
Ellie weighed 13 pounds and 14 ounces. She was also 26 inches long. Her doctor felt like everything looked great and Ellie looks like a very healthy child! Mom and I took her to Target where we feasted on sprinkled cream cheese donuts. We were on a major sugar high. Poor Ellie started having small moans from all the shots she has received. So, we went home and she has been somewhat cranky. Overall, she seems to be doing good from all the shots she received. We got her a cute butterfly toy from Target. Personally, this does not seem to be good enough for shots but alas we can not give her a brownie sundae to compensate! A new addition to the things Ellie has learned has been to put her pacifier back in her mouth by herself. Now we just need to hone this skill for those car rides home when we are not so happy.

I have included a recent picture of Ellie holding her head up. We are so excited about this new acomplishment.

Look how big she looks doing that! Putting the pacifier back in is a major accomplishment...Savannah didn't seem to master that quite so soon.
